All contracts herin and with effect of the company do not at any time affect your statutory consumer rights.

Privacy

All prices at Coastal Surf are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the current rate. In addition to the price of any goods you may also be required to pay a delivery charge.

Order Processing

We accept all major credit and debit cards (except American Express). These Cards are;

When placing an order it is imperative that you type in the cardholders name exactly as it is shown on the card, and the billing address exactly as it is shown on the statement.

Your card will be debited when you have submitted your order. A full refund will be given promptly in the unlikely event that stock is unavailable.

We try to carry as much stock as possible, however, despite our best efforts, at certain times popular items may be out of stock. If this is the case we will inform you of the expected earliest delivery. Should you wish to cancel your order please contact us at any time.

Card Security

The utmost care and consideration is taken to ensure card security on our site. We use a recognized, trusted and secure internet credit card payment service provider Protx™, who use 128 bit SSL encryption on their servers to ensure that your credit card details are safe. No card numbers are stored by Madiba Surf Ltd.

In order to process your order as efficiently as possible we request a land line telephone number (mobile number is optional). Please note we never disclose customer information to a third party.

If you are unsure about ordering on-line we also accept payment by telephone. Please have your credit card details ready when you call our ordering number +44 (0) 1872 575252.

Card fraud is illegal and will lead to prosecution in all cases.

Delivery

At Coastal Surf we will always aim to despatch your order within 24 hours from the time of order receipt. If there is going to be a delay, for any reason, we will inform you.

All quoted delivery times are from the time of despatch of your order, and are based on standard working days Monday-Friday. Delivery on Weekends and bank holidays is not available unless by special request, and is at a surcharge. Please contact us should you require delivery on these days.

At Coastal surf we offer a number of different delivery options. These are listed below;

Orders for 2 working days delivery require a signature on receipt. Please ensure someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the order.

Cancellation Rights

Under the consumer protection 2000 regulations (distance selling) you have a 7 day cooling off period in which you can cancel your order without giving a reason. The 7 days begin from when you receive the goods.

Returns and Refunds

At Coastal Surf we endeavour to supply only the highest quality products. However in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with a product in any way we will refund you. Alternatively if you are happy with the product but wish to change the size or colour etc. we will gladly exchange the item.

We must be informed of any returns within 14 days of placing your order and the items must be unused and returned in their original state unopened and with any seals/shrink wrapping intact.

Unfortunately goods purchased at a Coastal Surf store cannot be returned to Coastalsurf.co.uk.

1. Contact us explaining why you wish to return the goods.
2. You will be given a returns number. This number must be shown clearly on the outside of any returns packaging. Unfortunately we cannot accept any return items without a returns number.
3. The goods and the original receipt must be returned in their original packaging within 14 days of the returns number being issued.
4. Once the returned goods have been checked we will notify you, and providing the terms and conditions stated have been met, we will promptly refund you.
5. Packages must be returned pre-paid.

Faulty Goods

If the goods you have ordered are found to be faulty, or sent incorrectly, we will cover the cost of all postage.

Item Refunds

If an item you have purchased is not required, you will have to cover the cost of all postage.

Item Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a purchase you will have to pay for the goods to be returned to us and an additional charge will be levied for delivery of the replacement goods.

Description and Price of Goods

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices shown on our web-site are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we do not receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel the order, or if the order is cancelled automatically due to the expiry of the 14 day period, we will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you for the goods.

Liability

Any product which you return to us is your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection we therefore suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires signature upon delivery.

When you visit Coastal Surf or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. By doing so you consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this website. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
